Race-Day Info

  • The Chicago House Run is now on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Soldier Field (1410 S Special Olympics Dr, Chicago, IL 60605). The walk/run kicks off at 8:00 AM.

    All registrations will automatically transfer to the new date. We appreciate your patience as we work to make race day happen!

  • Yes, the Chicago House Run is open to all ages.

  • Paid parking is available at the Waldron Deck Garage (use address: 458 E 18th St, Chicago, IL 60605), located across the street from the South Lot. The cost per car is $27.

    We strongly recommend using public transportation or ride share to avoid delays and reduce congestion.

  • The race starts at 8:00 AM. We recommend arriving by 7:00 AM to give yourself enough time to park and get ready.

  • Bib pickup location, dates and hours will be shared in the Spring.

    You must finish the race to receive your finisher’s medal. There will be no shirt or medal pickup after the event. We strongly suggest picking up your bib on the designated dates to avoid any issues on race day.

  • No, same-day registration will not be available.

  • Yes! The Chicago House Run race grounds are open to spectators too. Come support your friends and family!

  • All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.

COURSE INFO

  • You can find the 2026 course map here!

  • No, gear check will not be available to participants. Runners are responsible for safely storing their gear prior to the race.

  • Yes! Strollers are welcome on the course, but we ask anyone running or walking with a stroller to start in the last corral for everyone’s safety.

  • No, pets aren’t allowed on the course. But they are welcome on the race grounds as long as they’re on a leash.

  • Yes. All participants will receive a timed bib, and your time will be automatically recorded when you cross the finish line.

    If you have already received your shirt and bib, you’re all set. Please bring both with you on race day at Solider Field.

    If you registered before July 19 and have not received your shirt and/or bib, you may pick up your packet on Saturday, August 29 or on race day.

    If you registered after July 19, please plan to pick up your packet on Saturday, August 29.

    Packet pickup times and additional details will be shared next week.

  • Confirmation number and photo ID of original purchaser (or clear copy).

  • Yes! All they need is the Tixr confirmation and a photo of the purchaser’s ID. A phone pic works!

  • Yes! Same-day packet pickup will be available for $15 per order at the Info Booth on the race grounds. 

    Pickup hours are 6 AM to 7:30 AM. Card and cash will be accepted.

    The same-day packet pickup fee is per order. If you are picking up for multiple orders, the fee will apply for each.

RESCHEDULE INFO

  • The Chicago House Run refund request form is now closed and is no longer accepting submissions.

    Refunds will be processed on a rolling basis and may take 15–30 days to complete. We appreciate your patience as our team works through all requests.

  • If you have already received your shirt and bib, you’re all set. Please bring both with you on race day.

  • Nothing! All submissions from the original refund form are now void, and your registration will automatically transfer to Sunday, August 30. You’re all set.

  • The refund request window is now closed. The deadline to resubmit was Friday, July 31.

    Full refunds will be processed within 15-30 business days after the request window closes.
